Actions for Sustainable Development (ADD-ONG)
In a constantly changing world, sustainable development has become an absolute necessity for ensuring a viable future for our planet.

About us
ADD was founded by a group of scientists eager to pool their expertise and experience gained through numerous projects carried out with a wide range of partner organizations, in order to strengthen the impact on the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. Promoting inter-institutional collaboration is its central objective. A key priority is developing methods to integrate the capabilities and expertise of partners with complementary skills to ensure the sustainable dissemination of effective and proven technologies. In this context, ADD has established the global collaborative platform “International Solidarity and Community Resilience” (ISACORE).

Objectives
- Facilitate access to education for vulnerable populations;
- Promote the economic empowerment and social and professional integration of women and youth;
- Contribute to the fight against endemic diseases;
- Promote local self-help initiatives aimed at improving household food and nutritional security;
- Educate and raise awareness among communities about environmental issues;
- Facilitate access to digital technology;
- Promote the integration of development partners’ initiatives.

Our mission
Our mission is to promote sustainable development in Africa by empowering the most vulnerable members of society to live with dignity, well-being, and hope. We work in harmony with the continent’s rich and diverse natural heritage, encouraging the judicious adoption of practical, scientifically proven solutions that strengthen communities, protect ecosystems, and create sustainable opportunities for a happier and more resilient future.
Intervention areas
Interinstitutional Collaboration
ADD provides a cutting-edge platform and expertise to foster collaboration among international and national initiatives to enhance the impact of investments
Climate Change
ADD is at the heart of the Twin Regions initiative, which aims to develop complementary partnerships between municipalities in industrialized countries and countries in the Global South to sequester carbon
Assistance for Vulnerable People
ADD pursues a decentralized strategy and supports local initiatives that assist vulnerable individuals and groups.
Our Projects
ISACORE-Net
It is a platform that brings together thematic networks to increase their impact on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in collaboration with international organizations (4p1000) and subregional and regional organizations. ISACORE (Wiki, NextCloud, Kimai, Serial Mail, KM-Expertise, and services) will also be used to facilitate monitoring and evaluation, as well as near-real-time documentation by technical and financial partners.
AgriPrix
Market information is an important decision-making tool for stakeholders across the various food security value chains. The prices and availability of agricultural products serve as indicators of changes in supply and demand and, as such, help identify situations of food insecurity that require attention. Making this information available to the general public in a timely manner promotes the smooth functioning of markets, facilitates decision-making, and supports the adoption of evidence-based food security strategies. This project aims to contribute to greater financial profitability for stakeholders in the value chains by providing them with market information.
IniLocal
This project aims to secure funding for local initiatives with the goal of supporting vulnerable people. Promoting local initiatives helps highlight communities’ ideas, products, and expertise, while fostering job creation and strengthening the local economy. All of this contributes to the empowerment of vulnerable populations—particularly young people and women—through the implementation of sustainable solutions.
Carbon Capture Calculator
This tool will enable local decision-makers to assess a region’s natural CO₂ absorption potential, plan future land use, account for aboveground biomass (AGB) and land-use changes, and analyze various scenarios. It was designed to help better understand the implications of transformative measures.
Twin Regions
The “Twin Regions” initiative aims to expand the regions' carbon sequestration capacity by promoting partnerships among local communities. It will enable high-emission regions to fulfill their responsibilities and allow partner regions to fully realize their carbon sequestration potential. This cooperation will also enable partners to contribute more to global environmental and social recovery and to address the consequences of ecological collapse.
